Back from vacation, and I'm facing a to do list that has grown crowded and cranky from neglect. My arms and back actually ache from throwing my kids around in the pool all week.
I am officially old.
Right now, I'm lost for what to do next. I'm supposed to be working on revising "Keeping Susie Whole," but all I can do is look at it and say, it's too damn long.
Oh yeah, the first rejection came in for "When my Girlfriend Lost the Weight." So that's back out and in the mail again.
I keep thinking about what Garp said, "You got to have energy." That's probably miss-quoted, but I don't have the energy too look it up. That's the problem right now. I'm looking for energy.
