I know. "Keeping Susie Whole" has yet to be edited. The novel hasn't been touched in months. But damn it if I'm not working on another new idea.
It's called "Our Kids" for now. And it's about a couple who repeatedly give birth to home entertainment equipment instead of human children.
The agent says I can only post excerpts of unpublished work, so here's a teaser.
