Much better.
This thing scares me. What is it?
Hey Matt,
I check this from time to time but have not seen your graphic art before--are these characters for a toy line as per "You Will Behave" or for some sort of fantasy novel. Besides what did McGuinnes do to become incarcerated.
Hey Rod, thanks for stopping by. The new art things are the beginnings of two different potential projects.
Zog is part of a new series of stories (potentially a comic strip if I have the patience to draw all the panels) about an office monster. The full picture is of him standing in a cubicle. I'll post that soon.
The other drawing (McGinnis) is for an idea I have to adapt an old short story of mine into a children's book for adults. (McGinnis, by the way, was found guilty of sexual assault and murder.)
Not sure if either of these ideas will go anywhere, but I've felt like drawing lately so I'll be posting more of the art for each soon. I've got about a dozen pencil and paper sketches, but they still need to be inked.
Anyway, what's up in NY? Where's your Web site? I follow your wife's fairly regularly.
NY is great--the freelance business is doing well so i'm working on that site for the time being. as for the personal one, i dunno, since i havn't published a piece of fiction since 2004, maybe i'll just put all my stuff up there for posterity ;). but the reviews are doing well. I got to interview Paula Vogel (http://fringeunderground.com/how_i_learned.html)
which was cool as my editor knows her rep.
But yeah, jessie's site is great I need one. How about "The Second Best Writer Ever ;)"
I do like the comix. You're a man of many talents. I also like the "Got To Be Famous" tune.
If you're looking for a singer, I'm your man. They do live band karaoke down the block and rocking out is essential. I've done some safe tunes for the crowd but am now practicing for a kick-a rendition of Motorhead's "Ace Of Spades."
I'll be back soon.
